Taking Forward the Wellbeing Strategy - Launching New Initiatives and WellCAM

Professor Ferran, as Sponsor, will launch the new Health and Wellbeing initiatives recently approved by the University’s HR Committee and the logo, WellCAM, further to recommendations made by a Strategic Working Group who reviewed our current approach with the aim of developing initiatives to provide a more comprehensive health and wellbeing provision.

The focus will initially be on mental health awareness and managing work demands, with lunchtime sessions on these topics provided over 2017/18. In addition, a website will be developed to provide information and where staff can make bookings.

These initiatives will build on existing good practice, while allowing local flexibility to accommodate these activities within their existing wellbeing provision.
